I think the Oyster Perpetual line is the only current Rolex watch I'd consider, and the grey is really nice, although I'd prefer the 36mm version. I think 36mm looks better on everyone with a wrist this side of 8".

To me, the dial is the star of the show. The color varies from pure white to eggshell white, to a light silver depending on the light. The size is perfect for most wrists. What is the forums general consensus on the OP39. As the entry level model of the Rolex lineup I could see how it would be looked down upon from certain users here. But factoring in the scarcity of steel sports in todays market, one could argue that this model could in fact be a bargain given the price. #21

Luckily for me, my beautiful wife gifted it to me a few years ago for our wedding. Then, I’ve started looking for an Oyster perpetual 39mm with white dial but the AD did not have one in stock. I like the dial, the brush bracelet, and I guess the 39mm could be perfect! As we don’t see this model so often, I was wondering: is this Rolex worth it regarding the mouvement and caracteristics? Previously available in 34mm and 36mm cases, this is also offered for the first time in 39mm. And while the two larger sizes are both quite unisex, the Oyster Perpetual 39 is a winning size for a men’s watch.
