He displays them for his own enjoyment. His watches are nothing special and he doesn't wear them to show off. many times I'll be watching him work close to machinery and his watch is way too close to cutting tools that I want to scream, "Hey Adam.watch it!" In the latest episode you can see him wear a PO Chrono. Forgive me if this topic has surfaced in the past (couldn't find one with search) but I was watching Mythbusters last night and noticed what looked like a Rolex on Adam Savage's wrist.
