But a lot of that thickness comes from the caseback and crystal, which in my opion, is ideal and works so well I never thought of it as that thick. The Sea-Dweller 16600 was a very well-engineered watch, and I was always surprised at how so few people would recognize it as a legitimate part of the Rolex lineup. One example of this, which I can still remember quite vividly, took place as I was standing in line for the movie theatre with my then-girlfriend.
