Hi burgaface, The box bag does not come with the straps fixed. Just unwind the strap and put it through the holes beneath the flap of the bag. Depending on how you want the bag to fall (on your hips or on your waist), secure the 2 hardwares on the straps onto the holes. I believe there are 4 holes in total.
